I bought wrx foglights from this guy, never recieved them. I emailed him to refund my money if he wasn't going to send them, he said he'd send them but they never came. Now he's not responding to emails. I filed a complaint with paypal already but if you guys know the location this guy, or have any info on him, please let me know. Maybe some of you fellow i-clubbers know where he is or know how to contact him, just let him know that I'm looking for him. I know he drives a white WRX with a carbon fiber hood in the NorCal area.

Sorry, just received the emails. I am away from my home pc right now, but sent the fogs out today. I will have your tracking# tomorrow as soon as i get home. I had to first wait for the money to clear from paypal into my checking acct. Sorry for the late notice.

Its been about 20 days since the transaction, and received 2 email replies. It's been about 12 days since the last reply when he stated that he had already sent the foglights and was going to email me the tracking number. No responses since then.

He's a member on i-club and his location in the past was Sacramento. He mentioned maybe coming out to a meet on Saturday night, but he never did.

 

Oooh I was going to buy a rear bumper from him. He said he would drive it down and meet me up for $120. I was talking to him on AIM and he seemed pretty legit. Told me to come up to Sac., but then when I had someone in the area to meet him up he never answered any IM's. Good Luck!

 

Does anyone know how to reverse a paypal transaction? I know its been done because some people have done this and scammed their way to getting the item they what and then reversing the transaction, getting back the money they just sent. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.

If you used credit card paypal, try calling the credit card company and refuse payment.

 

If you do that paypal will freeze your account and will not reopen it until you reimburse them. I've been paypal-less for 2 years because of this. I had some craphead try and take me. It took paypal 3 weeks to freeze a guys account after I realized he was screwing me. About 3 days before they froze it he cleared out all but $3. The $3 was divided amongst 4 people he screwed. I explained it to Chase and they instantly reversed the charge, and my paypal account has been frozen since.

 

This happened to me once too and I managed to get my account unfrozed somehow. Just check with your credit card company to see when the deadline is to file a complaint to have charges reversed so you don't wait to long, but in the meantime, wait for paypal to try and resolve the dispute you filed.
