Michelin pilot sport cup r-compound tires

4 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup r-compound tires, great for track, good for autocross.
Size: 255/40R17
Right now I daily drive 255/40R17 RT-615's on my 05 STi's OEM 17x8 BBS's.
Two track events at Laguna Seca on these. 2 with 5-5.5/32nds, 2 with about 4.5/32nds. These come new from Michelin with 6/32nds and run good till the cords, so there's about 60-80% life left in these. They are dismounted, and I had them inspected at a tire shop in SJ today to make sure they're free of punctures, patches, or other damage.
New they're $250 each from TireRack. I'm asking $475 obo for the set.

I run 255/40R17 RT-615's right now on my STi (2005 with wheels that are 8 inches wide) and they fit without any rubbing issues. If you're going to run big tires, it works even better on 2005 STi's because of the extra half inch of rim width.
I wouldn't recommend going any higher than 255's, though, unless you have 17x9 wheels with proper offsets.

Bump! I found my tread depth gauge and I found that tread depth is actually better than I initially estimated. It's more like 4.5-5/32nds.
