Good question, I had both on same car :)
Quieter, softer, more subtle. It sounds similar to a prodrive oval tip on a GD, or a Greddy Spectrum Elite, which is also uber rare and discontinued. All the cool JDM stuff seems to have gotten discontinued for this car.
