Hey everyone,
I'm looking to trade my 2013 WRX headlights which I have baked and painted to get rid of all the chrome. The reason I have 2013 headlights is that I traded my stock 2011 ones for his 2013 because he didn't want to bake his and I figured I might a well make this a win win situation. So I took his stock 2013 lights, baked them, painted the housing and the turn signal Rustoleum Satin Black, Krylon the high beam bowl with Yellow Glass Paint, and the turn signal housing with Rustoleum Metallic Dark Grey.
The turn signal bowl's color is hard to see but when you hold a light up to it, it looks amazing.
I baked these lights 3 months ago and I have absolutely no leak at all. The paint was done very carefully with 6-7 coats for the main housing. No drips, no leaks, no running, just perfect black. The high beam bowls have 2-3 coats of yellow and spread very evenly and make the DRL and Hi-Beams super yellow! The turn signals are totally usable and still emit enough light for people ahead of you to see them. They have a shiny paint so the turn signals reflect off of that.

Basically, I just want to get stock 2012-2013 chrome headlights because I want to repaint them all black. I am really impressed with the outcome of these lights but I have a lot of red trim on the front of my car so I want to look a bit more evil and just go all black.

Looking for 2012-2014 stock headlights OR if someone already has all black headlights that want to trade for mine, I will take. Not looking for cash on top, just a straight trade. Must be local to me (Elk Grove, Sacramento) willing to drive a bit but not too far.

 

I have my 2008 Black headlights and very interested!!!!!

I have my 2010 headlight that are ALL Black. I taped off a small strip in the high beam cup but other then that they are all black with reflector removed. I can take some pics tomorrow. Text me if youre interested.

I have like 6 guys in line for these. I have a guy from NASIOC coming down from San Mateo on Sunday. If that doesn't go through, I have iDriveMyI, WRX Mike, dbangs, and a couple other guys all in line ahaha

yeah these actually never got traded. I took off my red pinstripe and painted my hella horns wrinkle black and i'm okay with the look now. I would only trade for all blacked out headlights now if anyone is still interested
