more then likely on CL. prices are dropping like nuts on LCD TVs. i just checked and there are sammys and sonys going for cheap. sonys are going for around 400-650 and sammys are around 600 or so. so his asking price is legit, buuuuuut of course on CL there is always someone whos willing to drop their pants to get rid of something soooo whomever got a 50" for 600 was really lucky and possibly even got a brand new one at fry's electronic's clearance to get rid of old models.

Still is a better tv then most new ones under 1k imo.
