Because it is e85 with a higher octane rating relative to CA 91, is that what makes it safer? He would have to run highly aggressive timing on CA 91 to get anywhere near 30 psi right?

What if he were to run on CA 91 with less amount of boost, say, 20psi?

e85 does not to knock like 91 at higher power levels

not sure what u mean by safe, CA91 is garbage. if you try and squeeze every ounce out of it and then u get a bad batch of 91 your done. my sti is great i would daily it if the pump was closer to my house.
