Do you want used and/or salvage title cars?

Hey everyone! Some of you know me on here as Rat. I started a new business since I was always buying and selling cars. I went ahead and got a license to do so legally. With this I can get you used cars at auction for a little more than my price. Please contact me for details, or post questions in this thread!:)

What I can do is get used cars at dealer auctions for a set price over my cost. Subarus come through weekly. I cannot take anyone in the auction with me but I can provide you with as much info as I can get.

If you want the parts to do a swap I can do the same thing for salvage cars. A lot of STi's and WRX's (RS's too) come through the yards and I can get you complete cars for really good prices. Same thing goes for these cars. I can have an appraisal done on these cars BEFORE purchase (usually $100). This is great because it makes it easy and safer to buy cars from out of state. Also, I've found a reasonably priced door to door transporter.

Definately. I'm sure there'd be alot of interest on here, in say, completely rolled STi's, or something along those lines. Don't care about body panels, just the drivetrain.

Generally speaking, what would a ball park figure be for a rolled sti?

I'm seriously considering this option if the price is reasonable.

They vary widely... last week a '06 WRX sold for $5100... so add on the auction fees, shipping and my fee... so it's hard to say. They don't keep a market report at this auction...

stevenkhau 08-22-2006 05:03 PM

wow...how much do you think THAT STi is gonna go for...

I'm curious.

Me too, I'll be watching this one tomorrow... oh so tempted to get it... it has a run and drive certification but I didn't pay to have it appraised so I'm not going to get it.

DaFastOne- ok, let me know when and what and all...

Nice!! This is an awesome service you are providing. Maybe you could plot sales over time and establish for yourself an "average" even though there will be no real way acurately to calculate what ACVs will be since every car is different. As soon as I have the space for it, I want a totalled STi really bad. The only issue is, I will need to know how much to save for since of course it cannot be financed.

Alchemy Motors 08-22-2006 06:59 PM

Totally! I'm going to keep track of the prices so I can do that... :)

my friend does this also, he drives EVO 8 and bought a rolled EVO for about 8 grand or so with minimal rear damage and 20K miles on it. So your probably looking around that area.
