I am selling my 1995 Mazda Miata Red 105,XXX Manual

95 (and 94) is considered one of the best years since the engine bumped up 200cc to a 1.8L and Mazda addressed the crank nose problem that was plaguing all 90-93 1.6L.

The 95 is a few lbs heavier than the 94 and probably 30 than the 1.6's so its worth the weight. Power windows, cruise control, subaru speakers in door lol.

It gets 30 mpg if you drive 65.

Yes it drifts! I don't know what kind of rear end is in it, but maybe this video will help :D (These tires have been discarded)

Good:
I have maintenance records from previous owner.
195 60 14 Hankook RS2's with about 75% tread left on them.
It has a new radiator, temp gauge stays right above C.
I have a water pump but didn't put it in.

Bad:
The power steering just stared leaking the other day. Not sure if its from the hose or pump.
It could use a new rear window, mine is rotted, discolored, ripped etc...
Left front quarter was dented in a parking lot and pulled out and rear quarter was dented in a 5mph street accident and has also been pulled out. Both aren't noticeable 20 feet away, literally just fender benders.
Could use a detailing job on the paint since it isn't as red as it could be.

KBB:
Great: $3850
Good: $3500
Fair: $2950
I-Club: $2500

So we will start at $2500 :)

Condition of rear window. Doesn't need to be replaced but should.

Left side where light body damage is, notice that it isn't noticeable!

Haha cool.

Yeah well i have been looking for those pics when i showed my insurance, but i can't find them. I didn't take any since i thought i had them. I am away from the car right now.

i'd be interested at $1500 or so....not to lowball, but that thing needs work!

kYLEMtnCRUZr 08-12-2010 12:52 PM

Well it all depends on the driver, It really just needs the power steering leak fixed. Other than that its basic maintenance.

NorCalDC5 08-12-2010 01:46 PM

I have really been looking for a miata around this price range but I feel like you have probably drove the living piss out of this car!

kYLEMtnCRUZr 08-12-2010 02:50 PM

Its not like revving it out every now and then takes a significant chunk off a cars life. Thats why they have rev limiters.

Just like old people, the slower you move on a daily basis, the sooner you die. You need to get up and run once in a while!

Ive driven this car at 2-3K RPMS 99% of its life getting 30 mpg.

Su_Buru 08-12-2010 05:19 PM

resize those pics mang.

kYLEMtnCRUZr 08-12-2010 06:44 PM

woocabin 08-26-2010 02:50 PM

look on cl, a lot of lower priced miatas.. just sayin.

'94 - '95 are the first years of the 1.8, yet are still OBD-1. This is desirable if you are planning on boosting the car.

Looks like yours may have the "Popular Equipment Package", which means it should have a torsen as well -- SCORE! Check to make sure though.

'94+ are heavier than '90 - '93 because of the heavier 1.8 engine, bunch of extra bracing (makes the car handle and ride better) and driver's side airbag.

With only 105K on the odometer, you should have 150K+ left in original engine/transmission if they are in good shape.

Your wheels look like either the "hollow spokes" (10.8 lb, lightest wheels Miata came with), "semi-solid-spokes" (11.2 lb) or "solid spokes" (11.5 lb).

Bump for you Kyle, this car seems to be one of the more desirable ones.

These cars BEG to be beaten on. They are designed to be wound up all the time, have forged internals and built with great quality. Their engines are turbo engines running in N/A form, way overbuilt.

My '90 with 180K+ on the original engine freakin screamed and burned no oil. Bulletproof screamers.
