Thanks, I enjoy working on Subarus. I have one Local customer that has a 2012 Subaru STI that I have fit cusco rear strut brace, Perrin master cyl brace SPT heat shield and group N Trans Mount and shift linkage bushing, SPT front lower chassis brace and heat foil to air intake, this has had a significant effect on lowering intake temps
I know this is not my car but I would like to post a couple of pics.
And thanks to the owner I was able to spend the weekend with the thunderbirds F-16's

I have posted in my Impreza 22B thread regarding this also but my wife has entered a picture of her and the 22B on the Subygirls calendar competition which is a calendar of Subaru owners and their cars. If you know anyone on the Subygirls Forum or are a member could you please vote for her. I think it's a great picture but it's not doing so well which is a shame because she is a big Supporter for me and my Subarus.
Here is the link, she uses the same user name as me, tried to talk her out of that but she said it is easy to remember

I Have started a build thread on my Legacy, it is a bare shell complete rebuild. Here is a link https://www.i-club.com/forums/ongoin...-build-244947/ the build is unique as it includes lots of rare Rs type RA parts and an engine build. The shell has been seam welded and parts are on their way from N.Z please take a look!

Here are a few pictures of some of the race engines we build
The engines above are all engines we have built at work. The business is owned by my Dad and I help him with these builds. I enjoy working on the cars much more than the engines but I have access to tools for my Subaru build which is going to help make my Legacy a very quick car!

Thanks, it's much more fun to share the experience with my family, I am fortunate to have a wife that like to go to races etc with me. It is difficult to spend time when I am working on the cars but shes always there to support me. The best is having my son around the cars and getting to experience it too

I have done a little more work to the 2012 STI this weekend, I wrapped the intercooler in heat insulation Gold foil. I have done a lot in this area to this impreza in an effort to reduce heat transfer to the intake. We fitted the SPT heat shield to turbo but also covered underside of shield with gold foil and it is amazing how well it works, you can actually go drive the car and hold your hand on it after a run

DEI reflect-A-Gold 12x24 sheets three needed from rallysportdirect.com
We use it in Indycar on rear bulkheads to help stop transfer to fuel cell and inside bodywork around headers to stop burning the paint. This product is the same thing
