2005 wrx(charles xavier)

hey whats up everyone, so i have a 2005 wrx and i was looking into some intake systems and bov & bpv's. i currently have a invidia turbo back system and the cobb accessport.

Ive done some research on the bov & bpv and i was curious which one would be the best pick for your money. As for the intake (short ram Vs cold air) which would be the healthiest for the car.

Im open to all advice.

advice is.. to stay away from aftermarket intakes and bovs. hah..sorry but you're gonna get a lot of that unless you looking to do more than 350 hp...

my suggestions is to just get your car protuned. since you already have the exhaust system and the cobb.

stick with the stock bpv and stock intake. short rams suck in warm underhood air. most will tell you that an aftermarket intake is not needed until you do more power mods and take your car into the mid 300 whp range. Also you will be told by many that a tune is needed to get the most out of a CAI as the cobb does not have an OTS map for the an aftermarket cai. definitely get a pro tune.

You say that like he won't make worthwhile gains with an intake, and then you tell him to get a custom tune, which is what would make an intake work best?

Anyone who says that is an idiot. The stock intake is a restriction long before the mid-300s.
