Brand New Braille Super Lightweight Battery Package; never used (lose 20 lbs)

This is the lightest battery on the market; it weighs only 11.5 lbs versus your stocker's 33 lbs (you shed 20 lbs). This is the Lightest Automotive Specific Battery around and beats Hawker, Odyssey, and Dyna-Batt lightweight batteries.

Voltage: 12
AH: 15
PCA: 700 Pulse Cranking Amps
CCA: 360 (most lightweight batteries only get 280; see the comparison sheet below)
Length: 5.8”
Width: 3.3”
Height: 5.9"

Stock Battery Weight:

Braille Battery Weight:

Folks, that is a 20lbs of weight savings off the front end.

This thing is tiny:

photos and a review

I guarantee that this lightweight battery package (yes package; includes everything required for a safe installation) is brand new sealed in the manufacturer's box and comes with a 1 year exchange warranty; just send the card in to register it. I am selling this battery because I ordered 1 too many. Call me if you have any questions. 310-383-3623.

MSRP: ~$197 ---> http://www.race-sport.net/battery.html

$125 shipped to your door. (price is firm).

By removing 20 pounds of weight from the front end of your vehicle, you will experience an improvement in handling and turn in, especially in the canyons, auto'x, tarmac, and rally. Some people opt for JDM lightweight bumper beams to reduce 10 lbs of weight from the front end while sacrificing safety. With this battery you can get double the weight savings without sacrificing safety. Or even better, why not get the battery if you already have a lightweight bumper beam.

The package is complete (unlike other lightweight batteries on the market) and includes:

1. The automotive terminal posts and bolts - which can be mounted in factory location or turned 90 degress to the side, if in the future they wish to install the battery in another application.

2. The bolts for the Posts.

3. A High density foam spacer to prevent damage to the battery from the factory battery tie down.

4. (2) Spacers to allow use of the factory battery tie down posts without having to modify them.

5. Complete instructions.

6. Braille Decals for the vehicle.

I don't want to sound rude so please excuse my ignorance in this matter... but by looking at the two side by side, how can the little battery provide just as much "juice" so to speak as the bigger one?

Thanks :-)

I am not a technical guy so I probably cannot provide you with a satisfactory answer. Obviously, there are certain things you will be giving up by going to the lighter battery, such as how long you can run your radio with the car off, but for those with a desire to lighten up their vehicle--particularly by taking weight off the front end--this is a no brainer. This battery will do the job of starting the car, which should be everybody's concern.

Anyway, Honda and Corvette use these batteries to reduce weight, improve handling, and experience increase acceleration.

These lightweight batteries use lead mesh mats wrapped around layers of fiberglass, in rolls, instead of heavy, bulky lead plates in a pool of acid.

It will supply plenty of power for street, daily driven use.

FYI, custom stereo maniacs use these types of batteries, just like racers do.

They are better and lighter.

(I would buy it if I had the cash)
