The only good think about the midwest is that there is alot more dirt, and alot more grass too. There seems to be the same amount of air. I heard one time that it was raining all crazy in the midwest - man, those midwesterners know how to party!

now now...The midwest forum sucks....The midwest itself is ok...The gas is cheaper here. We have good partys especially when the pistons win the championship....It's just that the BAIC guys seem to go out and party together and drive around and stuff...
Definately more dirt and trees and stuff...But that also means alot more grass to mow which sucks...
Guys, thanks for all the car help - there are alot of jerks here, and alot of cool people. So with a tear in my eye, i'd like to say that i am leaving I-club until i move to San Ramone - *sigh* J/K

The rural mid-mid west (Iowa, Nebraska, South & North Dakota etc.) has a million miles (well close) of open road with sweeping corners and often great visability and no traffic (i.e. secondary county roads). The police do not generally (except around cities) use stationary laser and there are few picture taking stationary speed traps. I have never had an officer look at my cat, my engine or anything else searching for a fix-it violation. Every evening, on the way home from work, I can drive as aggressively as I think is safe simply by turning left out of town rather than right in to town at the stop sign. If you pass the Country Kitchen with four patrol cars out front, well that's all of them in the county! When I go east (all those trees, curves, hidden driveways, and cops looking for a promotion) and west (all that pollution control, bad gas, and road side checks), I wonder why build a road car capable of 100+ to sit in traffic or dodge the laser. However, there is a very bad side..no AWD dynos to tune on except in Chicago, St. Louis, and Denver area.

Ya know what, I was just thinking that I have never even seen somewhere selling 91 octane premium. It is all 92 or 93 here. Is that just a west coast thing? There is even a few that sell 94 octane.
