Is there any place in the Louisville or Lexington area that that sells WRX fuel pumps. I've looked at Advanced Auto and Auto Zone but no luck. I would like to fix it over the weekend but I. My car is dead until I get a replacement.

 

I don't know how much the stockers run but watch the private for sale classifieds. If you can run the walbro you should go with that, it's likely cheaper than the stock pump at ~90 bucks.

There is two Walbro pumps, a standard and a "high pressurs "pump...any problem getting the higher pressure pump and useing it with stock fuel system??

Subaru dealer today gave quote me at around $350-$520....crazy! I work at the FORD truch plant in Louisville and I see parts that are bought for $20 go for $200 bucks, wicked markup on this stuff.
