i'm new to chicago and didn't realize i live (East Rogers Park) 40 miles from the meeting spot.

Hope i make it thurr on time.

 

About 100 cars showed up, and 6 Suby's......
Thanks for coming all that way to the "Dirty South" It was nice meeting you guys. It was odd that Dan and I were the only locals there.

As for the cruise, it started fine, 6 cars, easy to stay together right? Not the case last night, I was leading and all the sudden...
no one is behimd me, apparently someone thought it would be easier to get there if we only made Left hand turns!
(Iam not gonna mention names.................ha ha) Turns out its not faster.

3 of us took Wacker on our way home and it kinda sucked anyway because of alll the cars on it, (usually its pretty dead at that time).

Oh well, good times.

55 and 57 lookin kinda similar when you're driving at night and not sure where you are...

so i took 55 all the way to joliet till i figured that it was taking too long.

Didn't get to the Steak & Shake till 10... waited around for a while then went home.

as i was leaving saw a Red 2.5RS with a Subaru STicker on the windshield.

i hate getting lost

 

That sucks man, we left at 10pm. You just missed us.

 

We got lost too. Wow, driving in chicago sucks, i live in a small town in WI, and yeah, we got sooo lost, sorry we missed everybody, but not only couldnt we find the meet, we could barely find our way back to the hotel

 

I had a good time. Had to drive a long way to get there but it was worth it. Don't really know the area so gained some experience there

 

When's the next one?

 

Damn I missed it, if only I had seen this like 4 hours ago.

 

Whenever, someone set it up. Iam gonna pass on setting it up this time around.
