The National Grand Prix,.Grand Prix of Washington was canceled yesterday. IMSA and SCCA sited the event organizers as having not met some prior legal agreements and could not comment on why. This is huge blow to The area from a racing stand point and exposing more people to different types of racing other than NASCAR. I know the majority of my potential sponsors wont even think about stroking checks if there isnt a race in their home town. I cant tell you hwo much this sucks !! I will focus all of my attention on the Panoz Pro Racing series,since it visits all the same venues as IMSA and is televised.

I was so looking forward to working...err..attending the GP again this year...I wonder why and how it was cancelled? I know its not because of the residents...lol..the Mayor basically told them to "Go Screw"....the event has a 10 year contract here....hmm.
