Hey Spinplay, I'm new to all the forums and I don't know anyone in particular on the island. However, while looking through forum posts and the search bar I ran across your name under a clutch install topic. I have a 2005 FXT with 108k and the original clutch. It's starting to feel very stiff - no huge slip yet. If this is something you'd be interested in working on, or if you knew someone else that would be a better choice for the job, please let me know. Thanks in advance! - Harley
I was wondering if you would help me with an oil leak on my 04 WRX Wagon. I've replaced the gaskets on my valve covers, but there is still another leak somewhere else. I've looked under the car and at first thought the leak was from the oil pan, but it seems to be somewhere above the oil pan coming from the rear of the engine. I've owned the car since new and live in Kaneohe.
How's everything going? Just wanted to get your $.02 my car still constantly stalls and it never use to stall like this before. I did some research and read that it could either be my IACS which I'm not sure that 2006 sti's have or the MAF.
Usually my car would stall only after reflashing or learning a new tune for maybe a day or so and would run kinda weird (while it's learning). But this time it dies every time while driving to town at least 4 times per commute. When I am on the highway its fine then exit to city driving is when it dies, specifically when I throw it in neutral. Any thoughts? You think it could be my tune?
Could you send me your number again? I replaced my phone and lost all contacts.
