Suggestions?
I love Divide Loop and Connector so I'm always up to ride that. Or, we can do Olmstead x2 (might be pretty nasty still from all the rain last week). Whatever you'd like. I'm going to invite a friend out that I haven't seen for a while. He raced XC when we were kids, and still rides now from time to time so it should be fun. :0

doh. Race results are out for the race this week. I finished 7 of 8 :(. I was hoping to be a bit more competitive. Guess I'll have to start riding harder if I want to be better in that class.

Just don't do it tomorrow. Kidding aside I hope we still plan on doing a casual ride tomorrow.....want to get a feel of the new bike before we step up the pase. I rode it today on the bike trail, but its not the same as riding on a nice single track.

Were still all meeting tomorrow at 8am on Russel Road right?

EddyL.

nachomc 04-27-2007 01:03 PM

yep. I'm gonna ride at a comfortable pace tomorrow, not super fast (like last week) but don't wanna go slow ;)

EddyRS 04-27-2007 10:08 PM

I should be there at 8am. But I have to take my wife to my folks house in Foresthill first. (I hope I can get her up early enough). Matt, give me a call at 8am if I'm not at the meeting place, I should be on my way.

See you guys tomorrow.

We defiantly did not go slow! Nice ride guys. And I can even still walk. We did manage to find what is probably the hardest climb in the area. But we all made it. :yahoo:

nachomc 04-28-2007 04:50 PM

Yeah, I suck at picking the routes with no climbing :(

Egan - I can't ride tomorrow. My bike developed a pretty bad creak today and it's down at Mikes getting a headset overhaul :o

nachomc 04-28-2007 05:17 PM

Here's the data from todays ride :D

I guess I'll just ride by myself tomorrow. :(

nachomc 04-28-2007 06:59 PM

Sorry, dude :\. I wanted to ride but that creaking was making me really uncomfortable :(

I find this hard to believe...:sign0138: ;)

Distance Data Total (mi )/ % of Total
Distance 25.28/ 100
Ascent 9.50/ 37.6
Descent 10.21/ 40.4
Flat 5.57/ 22.0

It felt like 60% climbing and 30% dh and 10% flat. That's my recollection and I'm sticking to it :)

I'm still cramping and its 7:30. I went to the movies at 4:30 and got a huge cramp in my hamstring!!!! That sucks!!!

Pretty cool how you can post that up though. So did we actually climb 4000+feet???

Where on this graph is Heart Attack Hill going up to Foresthill Bridge???

It looks to me like it's that real steep part right before the flat part on the chart. The flat spot would be us riding across the FH bridge. Matt and I missed the turn off on the way back and ended up climbing part way back up that cliff again. :owws:

Cool info Matt. Thanks

Yeah I think it's the flat section between mile 2 and mile 3.

Sorry about missing that turn :( :(

It's funny - looking at that graph, I can tell you almost every one of those hills :\. Todays ride was sweet but dude it was hard. I think next time it might be cool to do connector + FDLT (x2) and connector. Much less climbing that way :)
