Not that I saw.

That was fun last night guys. It was nice to finally put a face to some of the I-clubbers that made it out.

So I ran my car last night. It was the first time for me on a drag strip and I ahve to say I'm hooked! Anyways I ran 3 14.0's and a 14.1 at the end of the night. here are the stats from my fastest run:

I3: 9.093
I3 MPH: 78.090
I4: 11.753
E.T: 14.047
MPH: 97.547

I was happy to be that close to breaking 14 my first time out. If I improve my 60ft time I should be able to hit 13.9.

Also, my dad came out to watch, so i made him film all of the Subarus (thanks Dad) and that video should be up soon.

Larry, my car never made that knock sound after those runs, only on the first one, but I think the car may have been knocking and may have retard some timing so I dunno. Maybe I am making excuses. My last run I ran 13.6 with a 1.9 60' foot and trapped at 100mph. Also when I shifted into 5th gear I hit boost creep and threw the cel so I am hoping I can pull better times than this.

my best 2 runs of the night were:

13.21@101.9 with a 1.88 60ft.

and

13.27@102.1 with a 1.97 60ft.
(i wrang third gear out to 7500 on this run and i plan to do that that from now on)

cant wait to get out there again and work on my 60ft times, ill have it in 12's the next night or 2 at the track hopefully!

Yup, the cars not done, yet.
We are havin a few quirks, and it should be good to go soon.

BTW the car should be even faster now, as we are also pulling the heads and getting a little port work done.

Yeah I want to come out there. Wednesday night is my only night of the week (aside from Friday) with no class, and it's also the only night of the week that I actually see Josey, so it makes it hard for me to get out there. I've got stuff going on for the next few weeks.

Eh, she doesn't like coming out because she gets bored, and I can understand that. Once school ends I'll have a lot more free time, but I won't come out to run then because it's too hot. Realistically I'll be back out for the last few weeks before the track closes for the year
