is this being held by the same people who did this in january last year?>

NCDA 12-05-2003 12:37 AM

The simple answer to your question is, yes. Thunderhill, is working with some of the same individuals. The format is improved over last years success. Many of the key players from last year are involved with NCDA.net.

How did you like last years? We are doing this years, at a significant discount in price, to promote the Northern California open track scene, and NCDA.net. The event will aim to be spectator friendly as well, invite your friends, if not to participate, at least to spectate and learn to love the sport.

Thanks for the inquiry!

I went to this event last year and it was great, lots of track time. Are they only running half a track for grip and half for drift or will it be half/half in the morning and full track in the afternoon like last year?

NCDA 12-10-2003 10:24 PM

It will be Half/Half the majority of the day, then a late afternoon full track session. There will be more track time then last year as a result.

Thanks for the inquiry!

I am looking forward to this event. :)

We had a WRX out at our last event. He was very fast when he was hot-lapping. Then a drift instructor went out with him, and man, that thing can DRIFT! Was amazing. So drift or grip, come on out, drive to your prerogative.

So far 1 STI and one WRX signed up!

See you all out there!

can you participate/get instructions on both grip and drift?
or are you locked into one side of the track w/ that style for the day? and how would one go about registering?

Kevin M 12-22-2003 03:22 AM

Dan, you can register by clicking the link in the first post, then registering for the site myautoevents.com. Then you can follow another link to registration. Unfortunately, the early sign-up discount has expierd. :( It's now $160+fee.

danhtao 01-04-2004 05:50 PM

are there any lodging deals or suggestions for the n00b?

Kevin M 01-04-2004 08:45 PM

The AmeriHost Inn in Willows gives a small discount for people going to the track, but if you have AAA or any other associations you might be able to score a little bit better discount. I think I paid $65 for the night I stayed in November.
