like i've posted earlier. . .If I don't call anyone, nobody will show. People need to show without me calling them. If you want everyones number, let me know or ask everyone to pm you their info.

I think most of the folks that attend the meets usually don't look at the internet (forums/threads) for updates or to see who may show up.
I agree to some extent that folks should just show up, but in the case where those folks that may need to drive a little bit out of their way, it's nice to read up and find out first if the turnout will be worth driving out for...everyone saves time and no one's time ($$ gas) is spent driving out for nothing.
If folks don't read that there will be people going, then no one will ever go to the meets. Perhaps make it a point, for those that are expecting a phone call or text message, to tell them to check this thread for updates and to see if anyone will show up.
