Oakland Meet?
 

I'd like to meet some folks in the Oakland area (Berkeley, Emeryville, El Cerrito, Albany, etc). Does a local group meet up around here? Or maybe the Subaru owners here are not the enthusiast type?

We use to, out in Alameda but it died.

It looks like the Oakland meet needs to be reinstated. Any other Oakland area Subaru owners out there?

I work in coco outta Richmond. If it's in my way home on a Saturday I could swing by. I usually don't drive the WRX on traffic days now.

I'm down! I'm in Alameda. I think we should bring back Alameda meets. Seem like there are more places to park in Alameda. There's always Bay Farm as well. How soon can we get something kicked off?

We should get a meet together over at Alameda Landing Center where there are all those New places to eat are at. Huge parking lot there too.

I sent out pm's to everybody in this thread hoping to get something official going, maybe for next weekend. Likely in Alameda. If anybody else is interested pm me or post here. When we get something set I will post the details.

I talked to a few people and it looks like Sundays are the best day for most. So we're gonna meet at the Starbucks at Alameda Landing at 1:00. So far it's just a few of us but I'm hoping we can do this regularly and get a big group together.

Hi All, new to the Subaru world and I'm from Hayward. Would like to set up a drive as well or a meet and greet if anyone would be interested, you can pm me.

Waited around for a while and nobody showed so we left. I guess Oakland is not a good spot for everyone, maybe back to Alameda next time.

My only concern is where we would meet. We could do a meet at South Shore shopping center. There is a parking lot and all. There are no parking areas at the beach except along the street...... Unless I'm mistaken.

Crown Memorial beach further down has a large lot, but might be $3-5 entry per car on weekends, just FYI. that So Shore center is crowded as hell on Sat-Sun, unless over by the office depot, etc. But we could coordinate with the OTG food trucks that come over by the Big5.

Food trucks are at South Shore on Saturdays only from 11 - 3pm. I was hoping for a Sunday but I can do Saturday. Meet at the Petco parking lot across from Big 5?
