DIY splitter is almost done, need to work out some rough edges from the dremel/shears and then paint it black. Not the prettiest thing, but it should be better than no splitter at all...and better than spending $100+ for an aftermarket one
I also want to fab up some kind of rubber shroud like the oem splitter...I'll try to remember to bring it by, maybe you guys can give me some ideas. The intercooler sits REALLY close to the scoop opening, so theres not much room, and I DONT want to smash the fins when I close the hood!

hell bring it by im sure somebody will have ideas. Maybe i might even have one hehe. Might as well fab up something original and if it saves you 100 bucks.........thats just more money towards an AP!!!!!!!
I like the new location. Just seems like more going on. Concord is cool but just kind of out of the way. I think the location will get more attention. It just feels so right!!!

That will be cool if your buddy shows up. Havent checked out an rx8 close up yet. Im trying to catch that guy with the black rex down the street from my house and let him know about the meet. Gotta get the word out.
