Nikon and I almost went to tahoe last friday for some driving and photoshooting, but the rain forcast made us cancel. I still want to drive up there just for the day

 

sig?? it seems like everyone is busy somehow to gather for this meet... anyway, I got my flash couple months ago...and just digged out to start learning about it...

Hey guys, a bunch of us from socal is heading up to the bay for a small meet the first weekend of March.

Ill have my D90 with me and I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for a photoshoot location?

hey I live in napa and lake berryessa and mt veder are great spots to take some shots its not to far out, but since your comming all that way you might not want to go the extra 40miles out to napa. But let me know if you do ill be happy to set somthing up

 

Hey, thanks for the response, I probably wouldnt mind another 40 min drive honestly.. what time is usually a good time to take shot out there?

If the timing is right I can go straight there from down here on Friday and I can just go to SF after we are done

 

Let me see by tomorrow I know i can friday just let me figure a time as we dont want to be stuck on the mountain pass at night ****in scary as hell!!! haha. But yeah im definitely down.

but a good time to go out there is midday so 2-3pm is where the sun is out. what time will you be in the bay area?

 

Looking to leave early morning should be there around lunch time

 

oh yeah i should of made notice i dont get off work till 1:30pm in napa I can meet you somewhere close to the freeway so you guys dont get lost. Damnn I just thought of a couple of more spots but it means crossing the bridge back. But here are some of the spots that are in napa:

• Parking Garage
• big *** Dam (literally)
• favorite touge places
• Sonic (drive in fast food place)

back across the bridge we get :

• carquinez bridge photo spot
• touge spots
• and then there is a park down by the water where we can get pics in.

I dont know how long you are staying in the bay area, if so would saturday morning work better with you? I just have the time slot of 1:30-6:00 open on friday.

those are some good spots i might have to take a trip over there hehe
