Hey there,

I wanted to organize a meet for the women out there who are interested in cars, modifying, racing, etc. I think it would be great to get an idea of just how many of us there are and be able to get together for conversations where we don't get ignored by the guys. I was going to invite the Subarus, VWs, Mitsubishis, etc.

I was thinking Saturday, October 7th in the afternoon at Lake Temescal in Oakland but would like to hear suggestions about the place and time.

Cool - do you think Oakland would work for you, or is there a better place to meet? The park website says they charge admission fees on weekends: boo! Free suburban parking lot instead?

Okay it looks like most of the people who have replied in the various forums are from the South Bay so we are going to move the meet to Fremont.

Does anyone know of a good place to meet there?

 

you could always do it at Bubble. theres a lot of cops in Fremont
