look for a shop to rebuild my vf-40 or where i could pick one up on the cheap

Try giving Ed at EQ a call? I know he does engine builds, but not sure about turbos. He's in fairfield

Send it in to BNR supercars, have him install a different compresor. Have bigger turbo and be happy. Otherwise a rebuild is a waste of money. Find used ones on Legacygt.com maybe.
