Very nice looking car!! Love the looks of it. Wish we got the revised edition over here, if nothing else just for the headlights and dash trim. :D

Great choice

mafiaryan 12-16-2002 03:14 PM

I think we do have that dash trim over here AK... if im not mistaken its the same one that is on my car at this very moment... i didnt notice any differences.. mabye im blind

awww comin over from hondahookup are we, good move subaru people are nicer haha j/k

El Jefe 12-16-2002 07:44 PM

thanks for the compliments guys, il get the part number when i go in for my free service at 1000kms

as for hondahookup, i dont go there to talk about cars. But its refreshing to talk to some people with more maturity here haha.

ImprezaRSDriver 12-16-2002 08:58 PM

Man, you guys get all the good stuff overseas. We get jipped on everything. Car looks really sweet.

AKSubie 12-16-2002 09:48 PM

Yep, we do get jipped overhere.

Sorry bout that mayfiaryan, upon further inspection you are correct. It looked like the grey marble trim when I first saw it, my bad.

As for the headlights, I'm not sure if they'll work with ours. Aside from the LHD/RHD thing going on, I've heard the revised front end has no sharing parts of previous years. (i.e. you'd need new hood, bumper, grill etc....to get the lights. I could be wrong though, maybe El Jefe can find that out as well for us when he goes for service.

Much the same as our 99-01 liberty's. The dark wood trim came on 2002+ liberties over here.

I definately want those lights, I have an 03 legacy so they should "fit" at least, I went outside to look (its to damn COLD) and they appear to be the same size

Anyway the car looks damned nice. And we do get robbed over here in the states...but supposedly the B4 is coming in 2004.

Light differences

1 Attachment(s)
Well, El Jefe's lights DO look much the same shape as our current lights. (the external boundaries) But there does seem to be a significant difference between the A thru C Rev B4 and the D Rev B4 as shown by this picture. (I hope the owners don't mind me using their cars as examples) You will notice that the newer one seems more "pointed" and/or angular than the older one. It may still fit, but would require more work than just being "plug-n-play", possibly even have to get the whole front. Don't know. Maybe El Jefe can check this out for us next time he goes in for service.

Looks Great i love white!

El Jefe 01-26-2003 11:08 PM

ok went to the dealer for complimentary service, the salesman had no idea whatsoever about the headlights and said 'errr... it should fit.. but why would you want to?' he then dropped the subject (obviously he knew nothing about it and wasnt about to help) sorry couldnt help you there guys, but i will be going to a new dealership for my 12,500km service and will ask again

im also considering buying some lowering springs and fitting these wheels:
