Update : On the other "subaru" board, a LHD - Turbo Legacy, B6 Legacy, and normal 2.5 Legacy dressed in JDM trim have been seen in AK going through cold weather testing. The thoughts are that we'll get a short run of the current body styling with the turbo option along with the Baja going Turbo in May as vehicle's in Cold Weather testing are really close to what we'll get (ala STI WRX). Subaru will then unveil the new redesgined Legacy Turbo come January'ish. The Turbo model and N/A model were designated 2.5GX.

The GX is the 2.5L Legacy trim name in the UK www.subaru.co.uk
The 2.0L model is called the GL. The GX name is possible but I wouldn't put money on it...

guys, guys guys, you got it all wrong,I own a RSK B4 Legacy, and they are a different car than the Liberty B4 Legacy that went into Australia. the engines are slightly more powerful in the RSK as to the liberty. the Liberty is 190kws for the manual, and 170kws for the auto (tiptronic).
The RSK is 205kws for the manual, and 190kws for the tiptronic.
the RSK is 280hp and produces 343Nm @ 5000rpm, and 0-100km/h in 6.3 secs.
i believe the B4 stands for boxer 4 cylinder, and there is a slight turbo lag between the 1st small turbo and the 2nd one, but boy, do they go. these cars are slightly quicker than a standard wrx, and oh so smoooottthh in the ride, cornering and just a pleasure to drive. they were made to counteract the wrx and aimed at the older subaru fan,*** family man. they look harmless as ,and i've had some fun at traffic lights,as the drivers in v6,v8's tend to race away from the lights but are amazed when this little "harmless", leaves them behind bigtime, and when i slow down to the limit (dont like speed tickets),they cruise past looking as if to say "what the hell is under that bonnet", type of look.

Ted1186,didn't mean to whet your appetite, mate but i've owned several, newcars the last 2 were both maxima's v6,and i wish i'd had of known about,or should i say bothered to find out more about subaru's, as i've never given them any thought before.this is my 1st one and as i say i would of had one much earlier on.the wrx is a nice younger guys car, but the ride etc leaves a little bit to desire, bit harsh riding for me,but these B4's a something else, not a beat all of a car at all, there would be lots of cars out there much faster,(well slightly anyhows,)
but it's the bilstein suspension and quickness apart from the 1 maybe 2 sec lag when you plant the gas,but only slightly. purests will bag it for this reason, but is well and truly off set by the brilliant handling and the RIDE,really smooth.they tend to drink a bit too,but once again i couldn't give a stuff,i like the smile on my dial
you ask how much to import one, well obviously i'm not in stateside, but this cost me around 37000nz dollars as a already landed import,i bought through a car dealer over here.NZ new they are around $56- 60000nz dollars, alot cheaper than a bmw m3 and it would still be as good as a performer as one of them. in fact a car mag. in nz said they would prefer it over the m3 as it is such a awsome car to drive, and dam good value for your dollar. sorry about the length of my post, and i'm not even a scooby salesman
you just wait mister you just wait, you wont regret it ever.give me a pm or email when you do take delivery of one,i'd like to hear your thoughts on it.cheers from NZ,Jim

^The pricing sounds comparable to about $30000 USD. Sounds about right. I've seen a few current ones on the internet that have been imported, but they were wrecked versions.

NICE
I'm driving a 02WRX and I already called my salesman to put a '05 Turbo Legacy on hold for the end of my lease (I know I know, I'm a salesman, think tax deduction).
My wishes:
1. Fender flares al'la WRX/STi
2. Bigger Fog Lamps "
3. Lower Stance (pink STi springs are a reason to clean under there)
4. Option for 18 inch (or 19 inch for the crazies) BBS's
5. A real short-throw optional stick
6. Leather bucket seats w/ the Audi themed leatherette (which holds as well as fabric in some cases)
7. LegacyGX (or whatever you guys have decided it will be called) stitched on headrests.
Hey Santa, I hope you registered!
