04 Legacy Rusting
 

My 2004 Legacy L has all these tiny rust spots on the hood, roof, and the inside of the trunk. Can I get warranty to cover all of this? Its a new car but looks like the factory paint sucks.

I would assume It would be due to the year .. but of course there are other variables which you havent mentioned... condition of the (Body)car. miles... etc...

That's highly unusual. I got this information for the 04 model from the cars101 site:

Bumper-to-bumper: 3 year/36,000 miles
3year/36,000 service adjustment (adjustment performed one time)
3year/36,000 mile Wear Item Warranty covers brake pad/shoe linings, clutch disc lining, wiper blades
Roadside assistance: 3 year/36,000 miles (800-261-1255)
Powertrain: 5 year/ 60,000 miles
Corrosion: 5 year/100,000 miles

You should be covered 100% for whatever rust problems you're having.
