I originally bought that DP for the exact same reason; nice and stealthy. The third cat is still there and the shorty DP just looks like a nothing special black pipe. I also went with a cut stock heat shield to add to the stealth.
I guess I'm a little more confident know 'cause I went ahead and installed a full, shiny TBE. I hope no CHP officers decide they want to get down on their hands and knees to look under there.
