I am still on a quest to find replacement bulbs for the foglight switch/cruise control switch in my 2002 Impreza. The dealer says "you gotta buy the whole switch." This can't be true, is it? The bulbs are easily replaceable. I did pick up a replacement bulb for the climate controls, which seems to work, though it is longer, and the dealer only stocks 1 at a time. Is there another japanese car that uses this same bulb?

 

If you know the bulb number, you could probably order it online, or even get it at a store like pepboys. That the dealer doesn't cary it seems insane yet doesn't surprise me; I went there to get a replacement bulb for my cluster, and they tried to sell me something for $109, I'm like forget it, I want a light that costs under a dollar, and you want over 100 so I decided to simply buy it somewhere else (tho I haven't yet and that was like a month or so ago.

you may want to check out http://www.autolumination.com/ That is where I got my bulbs for my climate controls. You may need to look in the Type 74 bulbs.

I got my HVAC bulb from www.subaruparts.com they were very helpful - I didn't know the bulb number or anything at the time.
