Wiring a 2004 STi I/C Sprayer into a 2002 WRX?
I have searched, but have not found the information that I need.
I have a 2002 WRX, and I have the parts off of an STi for the I/C Sprayer. Specifically the I/C button, I/C control assembly (looks like a large relay), the sprayer tank, and pump. My question is, using these parts, can I have it work the same way as it does in the STi? Where when the button is pushed it sprays for a pre-determined amount of time? My next question is, I have the 2004 STi cluster also. It has a low fluid indicator for the sprayer tank. Is there a way to wire the sensor in the tank to the cluster to display when the fluid level is low? Any help would be appreciated. I have my dash pulled out and want to get my gauges and everything done at the same time. Nick |
just wire it up and hold the button down for as long as you need to.

I understand that, but that is not what I want to do. In the STi, when you push the switch it sprays it for a certain amount of time. I was wondering how I can wire it in to do this if I have what I presume to be all of the parts that go to it.

I believe that is programmed into the STi's ECU not in the WRX's if I am correct.

I have a relay off of the STi that says I/C Assembly. Do you think it is only a realy, or do you think it could control the time as well?

I/C sprayer
there are timed relays. If that's true in the STi's case, it should work. Try searching www.scoobymods.com to see if installation instructions are posted. Post a new thread if there isn't on already there.

OK, I'll check that out.
