Subaru L to Rs

I jsut bought a 1998 Subaru Impreza L and i want to change the hood to an Rs hood. I also was looking at my friends WRX and got the idea to take a WRX intercooler and put it on my car. I was woundering if i could do this and it so what kinda of things do i need to get extra and where could i get some parts

first i dont want to blow up my motor second i dont hove the green to pay for that i wish i had it but dont

I got that info about the tires at the subaru dealer last week. I went to check out the differences between the WRX and the STi to make a better decision. I still have a lot of research to do on what mods I want to put on.

You are not alon my friend anctually everyone wants to do that(turbo their n/a suby) you have an ej22 right? or ej18? n e way yes you can use a wrx intercooler but first you need a wrx intake manifold i think? a turbo(stock wrx td04 is good and cheap!) an uppipe and downpiple, turbo back exahaust, voltage clamp or big time ecu mods... bigger injectors bigger feul pump the list goes on but before you make any decisions search and read all the articals on this website www.uniquemotorsports.com this site is the n/a to turbo converion bible and has every pice of info you need probably the only thing u haveto worry about is how much boost you can run with a factory Naturally Aspirated engine the usual top amout of boost one could run without wearing on the engine is about~9psi expect to pay $1500 for a complete homebult kit then engine parts in the future..."fast cars are a rich man's game" like i said see that website it will help email me if you or anyone has more questions im happy to help if i can at zeek659@hotmail.com
