STi girll and Morette Headlights
 

I'm thinking about changing the headlights and gril in my rex (sick of the "Neon"-esque looking lights)

I really like the morette headlights and the STi grill with the single beam down the center like at the bottom of this page.([url]http://www.altasports.net/subaru/exterior/grilles/sti.htm[/url])

has anyone used this grill with these lights seeing as the morettes take up more than the normal amount of headlight space.

anyone make any other grill suggestions?
(note: I HATE the c-west grill that looks kinda like this one...)

I completely agree. No more neon! I have the grill you are talking about and now I'm waiting for my Morettes to come. I'll let you know if it works out.

Hey, if either one of you has the grille side pieces that look like scoops, can I buy them off of you.

The Morettes will replace the pieces between the stock lights and the stock grille, so you can't use them anyway.

Hopefully one of your cars is WR Blue. If not, I can paint them. I tried buying them separately from Altasports, but they wouldn't split up the package.

if you ask me the morettes look the best definitly...
they're the only headlamp that rids the car of it's harmless look... putting morettes in alone make the car look like the pavement devourer that it is.

Are any of you getting the STi Genome grill and using it with the Morettes?

If you don't use the grille side pieces, I would like to buy them. Thanks.

Finding info about the headlights they said that the factory lights are weak but people that change the factory lights confront problems with the headlight cover,melted.

I have the morette headlights and wanted to go with the sti grill and was told they will not work.The grill overlaps the headlights and without cutting it up it won't work.I have the original side pieces off my scooby if anyone is still looking for them.

the grill in question isn't the STi grill but the WR replica grill (see the link in the first post) it's a 3 part grill similar to the stock WRX grill but without the badge
