Status Ring FIA Bucket Seat Impressions (getting in and out)

Hey i-Club,

Looking to pick up a new set of bucket seats for my STI for next AutoX season and have become quite attracted to the Status Ring FIA seats.

My one concern is the height of the side bolster and the complications it will raise with getting in and out of the car. I used to run a Sparco Pro 2000 and got rid of it for that exact reason, it was a hassel climbing over the side bolster. With that said, the Pro 2000 had a weird bump in the middle of the side bolster that i would always catch on.

Just trying to get some impressions from people who have used them.

Thanks!

Will

That's going to be with most full on bucket seats and you just gotta deal with it. If ou don't want to. Get a set of Evo 8/9 seats and call it a day.

Yeawp. I have a detachable steering wheel so it makes it a lot easier to get in and out of my pro2000 but the side bolster fabric is starting to tear now due to high traffic. Nothing duct tape can't fix. Lol

Hey, if you're still considering the Status Rings, I have a set of 2 that are absolutely mint in grey alcantara with white logos. Carbon fiber backing.
