you don't know what kind of lights you just bought? open the box and pull off the dust cap and you should be able to tell if they are hid's or not

no, they are not hid's, they are conventional. the hid's are an xtra 1900$ on top of tha 1100 i spent, ferget that. is there a difference in the way they hook up?

just as a disclaimer, the lights are not all that great in regards to light output and are not meant for this country because of being RHD.

by hard wiring these lights in, you might have to cut off the stock 9007 harness and go from there. my suggestion to you is to look for a harness so you won't have to do this. either way, go to checkers or autozone and buy a 9005(the highbeam bulb) and get back to me when you have 2 of those handy. i'll look for a wiring diagram when i get off work in the morning.

what part of SA are you in? i grew up in leon valley

no kiddin, im actually south of 1604 on 281 but i know SA pretty well. Ok now you say i need to buy 2 highbeam bulbs, let me tell ya what i can about tha lights. I got them off Fastwrx.com, they are legal left hand pattern beams, projector jdm lights. If you go to the sight you cant miss em. they sent them to me but they sent me 2 left hand side lights so they emailed me a label to ship one back so i get the right side. and im currently waiting for the right one to show up, so i have a little time but i dont wanna wait once it gets here to hook em up, so ill let ya know when i get the bulbs.

jdm lights are not left hand drive, the edm ones are. and no, not the bulbs, the wire harness for the bulb. looking at the site, they only offer the edm ones. which is a good thing. so you should take the headlight, flip it over and look at the high beam bulb on top. i believe its a 9005 bulb. get the harness for it and it will save you lots of time splicing. have you decided on how you want to wire them up? either cutting off the stock harness and hard wiring them in, or use vampire connections(you will have to cap off the plug so water will not get inside them)

Rather than cut off the factory headlight connectors, better to leave them intact and get some male 9007 connectors which you can then wire to your EDM lights so they will plug into the OEM wiring. Reliability will be much better and there will be no problem in the future returning the car to 100% stock if need be.
You can get the connectors from Susquehanna Motorsports, here-

See item # CP9004CM, about midway down the page.

get your high beam harness, the 9007 male harness and you can just splice your low beam in directly. are you ever planning on hooking up the leveling harness too? if not, i'll take those off your hands should you feel the need to sell them

can you take a picture of the back of your headlight so that i can tell you what you are looking for. i'll help you with the wiring for you low and high beam. the leveling harness was a long shot, but not necessary.
