I'm getting a set of morette headlights that I'm thinking of converting to HID. In order to keep all the functionality of the OEM lights, I'd like to do the following:

1) rewire the DRL to the high beams...basically this would allow the high beams to work in "dim" mode durring the day

2) rewire the "Flash to pass" switch to the high beams

this is ALMOST like swapping the high and low beam circuits, except that won't quite work for obvious reasons. so...any ideas? it can't be THAT tough, but electrical work isn't my thing. I can solder and wire...but when there's active cirtuitry involved...I don't mess with it without very clear instructions.

I'm thinking that the "flash to pass" switch may just be a matter of swapping the contacts on the harness for the switch...i mean, that switch controls both the low and high beams....or maybe I'm just talking out of my ***...
