Checking interest for fellow Subie owners (or for what ever car you have) that would like their dash board flocked. Whether it be for rally/track racing purpose, or just for style. I flocked my dash and door cards last month, and just got done with TylerSTI's dash for his rally bugeye(which the pics below are of his dash).
What's the process?
The adhesive needs from around 4-6 days to set before the item that was flocked can be handled. So you will either be without a dash for about a week, or what I'm trying to do is get a complete dash assembly so I can just swap dashes and take the customers dash like a core. But until I get to that point the customer will have to sacrafice some comfort for a week or so.
I strip the dash down so only the surface that is getting flocked is exposed and when put back together it is nice and clean. The end result is not PERFECT, since it is not electrostatic flocking and is done by human hand, it still comes out very nice. And if you have a purpose built car then it does its job of keeping the glare off your windshield.
My price is $200 plus material cost which is around $30 depending on how many pieces you want flocked. I use a compressor assisted spray gun (not the hand shaken can) for a even distribution of flock. Mind you I do all the work, from taking your dash and requested pieces out, cleaning the duct work out, flocking, and reinstalling into you car. I understand some people only like to do that kind of thing themselves incase something breaks, they would want to be the one to break it since it's their car. So if you would like to just hand me the pieces you'd like flocked and have me hand them back when they're done so you can reinstall, that's fine with me. I can also flock guage pods as well. Anyway, here's some photos of my work, I'm getting better, and like I stated before it's not perfect. If you have any questions that I did not answer above please post for all to see and I will answer the best I can. Thank you.

Now time for the "flocking jokes" I'm sure there will be a few

Hey thats my Dash! HAHA nice work Kyle. (Happy customer right here) I have seen this material take some pretty hard abuse. It is easy to wipe clean and holds up very well to UV.

I knew this question would come up. I can cut the price to a flat $200. Though depending on if you want a lot of pieces done, I may have to charge a little more since the use of more material.
Forgot to put this in the top post, but I can also change your door fabric out with a color of your choice. For a little extra of course.
