Carbon Fiber Hood Scoops- Best to buy and colors?
I am lookign to get a CF hood schhop for my 02 WRX.
I am lookign to find out where I can purchase them from and what you guys think are the best types or people to purchase them from.
I see them on e-bay but don't know if I should trust them. I am also lookign for some in yellow/black or blue/black CF. I have a Blaze Yellow WRX and I am nto sure which would look the best. I have blue/black CF trim in the interior. But the yellow/black might look best on the outside.
Give me info and opinoins. Please

now that makes more sence, kevlar weaved in with carbon you can get a different color in there, yellow/black or red/black or blue/black. i haven't heard of other colors although they might be out there
and i don't believe i have ever seen anyone who has made hood scoops out of this stuff though. it might be out there though the material is about the same price as plain carbon fiber, maybe slightly higher, but not much

bro, no one knows. cheap carbon fiber hoods (500$ range) never work out-- from my experience, not to mention trying to make them work with anything else aftermarket, like a bigger hood scoop. They are not smooth beneath the hood and they have wavy weaves that are just cheap imitations for a nice carbon fiber hood by Kaminari. They are expensive, but the point of these nice hoods are really to lighten already fast cars with front mount intercoolers. One of these hoods would look great on a yellow rex with a humongus front mount intercooler!

That souns sweet bro. SO tell me where can I purchase all this stuff from. I need names/#s and web sites.
I will look at costs.
I think first thing is the TurboXS exhaust and chip. Then I will move to other stuff.
How difivult is it to install the front mount intercooler?

I'm not sure where to find a picture ,but the new version of the yellow Axis Sport Tuning Car with axis se7en mod wheels, has a carbon fiber hood and a front mount intercooler. It's not the kaminari hood though. There's a picture of a beautiful silver car with kaminari hood and a blitz front mount at kaminari.com. Blitz are harder to install than the turbo xs, just searc hfor info on fmi, but look for pictures of this reverse scoop hood at kamonari.com that directs air down into the fmi, so no scoop is needed.
