04 sti hood scoop

anyone in here tried to fit a 04 sti hood scoop on a 03 and below wrx ?

It fits but you have to modify it to work. You would probally be better off buying an aftermarket direct bolt on scoop.

no, it won't fit. the dimensions for the '04 are different than the '03.

I know I've seen an 04 hood scoop on an 02-03. I don't know what had to happen to get it on there, but I have seen it done.

I think it looked too big for the car. Something wasn't right. If you want a bigger scoop, just get an 02-03 STi one.

it will probably be a lot more work than its worth to put one on. I'd say get the 02-03 sti scoop.
