So I just got my JDM STi bugeye headlights nd I don't know exactly how to install them. It has S2k retrofits. The wiring is a bit weird nd I was wondering if anyone had experience with putting them on. If you can help out it would be greatly appreciated. Or post a link that explains how it will work. Txt or call me at (408)841-1245 if you can help me out. Thanks.

I had JDM HID headlights I rewired it so that it works safely on my WRX because USDM wires are not too suitable for the JDM HIDs. I found a link online on NASIOC.com which demontrated how to rewire it. It might be helpful for u to look there.

Ok so the headlights are installed nd everything works except the actual projector on the passenger side. When I use a 30A fuse nd connect the passenger side ground, only the driver side light is on then blows. When I use a 40A fuse and connect the passenger side ground, the driver side projector stays on, but the passenger side doesnt, nd it doesn't blow. Anyone have ideas on what it could be? Xhengmanx actually got the headlights installed, but the only problem is the passenger side which won't turn on at all. He thinks it may be a bad relay or cut wires that may be accidentally touching.

Right, so the ballast was faulty nd it actually popped completely. Smoke nd everything. Now I need a new ballast. Anyone know of a vendor that sells Ichikoh ballast. If so could you post the webpage address?

Yea Im gonna try to find the same ones just to keep it simple for now nd afterwards I may buy some aftermarket. Only problem with verifying is that the dude doesn't respond to his emails. He prolly knew it wasn't working nd sold it like that.... n*******.

Id go with an aftermarket ballast with the D2S adapter. its probably the cheaper route since if it blows again, you can pick up another one easily vs trying to source another oem ballast.
