This is just off top of my head, may have some discrepancy with bolt sizes!

1. remove tmic

unbolt the 12mm from the passenger side, and the two 12mm bolts on the driver side bracket on the engine.
pull off the hoses off the tmic.

2. unbolt dogbone from transmission (should be 14mm)
3. unbolt slave cyl from transmission swing it up out of the way (should be two 14mm)
4. unbolt the ground from the transmission (just unbolt from the chassis side)
5. remove the hex key cover, to get to the dowel pin that holds the clutch fork (was a 10mm hex)
6. remove the spring that is connected to the clutch fork (don't lose it)
7. take a long 10mm bolt to screw into the dowel pin to be able to pull it out.
8. pull the clutch fork off of the throw out bearing ( just make sure its not latched on to the tob or you can't remove the transmission)

9. Jack up the car on four jackstands and remove turbo back

10. drain transmission fluid (t-50 i believe)
11. loosen engine mount bolts (or remove them)[17mm nuts right above the sway bar and steering rack]
12. remove driveshaft (two carrier bolts, 14mm and 4 12mm bolts on the diff side)

You need to remove the diff shield which should be six 14mm bolts.

The axle if male axle they would just pull out, use the stock subaru jack to tilt the transmission side to side to remove them and tie it off

If the axle is female, remove the pin with a punch and do the same with the stock subaru jack.

13. remove transmission crossmember bolts [two large 17mm and four 14mm in the rear]
14. Use a jack or people to hold it up as you unbolt transmission off of engine.

[two 14mm nuts at the bottom, 2 longer 14mm studs, one the starter they go onto the top of engine(might want to mark these), and four more 14mm bolts]

15.
The direction of removal of transmission is pull back and drop down. (it would be helpful if you could jack the front of the engine to tilt it toward the rear of the car)

There are 2 hex bolt looking pieces inbetween the exhaust manifold and the oil pan, use a piece of wood and jack to tilt the motor from there.

16. Unbolt Clutch pressure plate ( save your bolts) and remove clutch disc [10mm bolts]
17. Unbolt Flywheel (resurface flywheel [recommend this only $40-60] or purchase new one) [12mm bolts]

18.

in reverse order
Replace all unbolts with fasten
Replace all remove with install
