Ya, you can get a good rust prevention spray paint from any hardware store. Take a couple hours and a wire wheel on a drill and get as much rust off as possible, clean and scrub it with water and a brush and wipe it dry. Give it a little time to fully dry, then put a couple coats of paint on it!
