UTEC remote switch install(large pics)

Probably the most simplest installation; took me all day, though.

The biggest part was trying to carefully drill and dremel the 'blank' that is next to the cruise control button.

The zero is the number of the map. It's got 2 little clickers so you can cycle through pre-programmed maps.

The key is to set it to 'valet' mode.

It doesn't look as bad as this. No really.

All Pau.

Anyhow, originally the UTEC came with a blank, white male connector to fit into the female on the unit itself. It took me a while to figure out that I had it. I was trying to poke bare wires into the female part. What a dunce.

Oh, yeah. And I finally installed the TurboXS 'closed loop boost control' firmware into my UTEC. Hopefully I'll have it figured out by the time I get back from Lousy Anna.

Works like a charm....for now.

Dan and Sean want my light hat.

It's actually supposed to send a little jolt to the squirrel up under my hood.

I call him Gnawss because of the way he eats at the twigs and berries.

Pat, you are too much! LOL!

I hope you got everything hooked up ok. I didn't get a phone call from you, ..... so that's a good thing, ... right? (yes, b/c my a$$ wasn't gettting out of bed anyway!! I didn't get home until the sun was up!)

you know, you may want to order some new 'blanks' from the dealership, ... if you want, I'll demel those things to fit in there and make it look perfect

Believe me. I already had that in mind.

You're gonna have to teach me the art of Dremel.
