I'll be there. Probably a little later. Have to be in Honolulu from 8:30 until 9:30ish. Hopefully this will not be a problem.

So does anybody have any start/drivers meeting/finish times or is this just "show up, drive and work for 90 minutes"? :D

I got it done. It ran AWESOME. Valves were a little noisy. Even after I RE-Adjusted them. Apparently it's a common problem.
anyway, I was driving home today in traffic (wishing for some room to open it up a bit) and my timing belt tensioner broke... it's all history from there. Somehow, the bearings in the idler wheel on the tensioning device just FELL OUT. I didn't make any sense to me, but the subaru mechanics say that if you remove the timing belt you should replace the tensioner because this could happen.....

sounds like a screwed up design to me.

nah, I checked everything that I could see. Just belt and tensioner. I don't think valves hit pistons.

D, we missed ya and cliff at the track today.

.... and you're right. bacardi and tekillya shots on an empty stomach will kill ya.
