Split a tranny with me?

I'm going to Cali this week and the 2nd week of April...

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=333881

Anyone interested in splitting a tranny with me? The more the merrier. What I'm interested in is getting this and a 2WD conversion adapter for dyno tuning.

3-4 people would make this really feasible. Then we can become guru's for changing tranny's

Mitch,

I'd love to but I definitely don't have the dough. Lately, time has been at a premium as well.

I'd be more than happy to be your gofer, tho.

I'd be interested

if a few more are "in". Doesn't sound like road tuning is working out too well.

What I'm looking at is $750 for the tranny + $200 or so for shipping via matson or air frieght through a friend... Or heck one of you military folk may have a hookup

Then we can either have the center diff welded or purchase the modified center diff for about $400

I'll be sure to make a lower offer then $750 of course, but no sense in making the assumption that we can get it really cheap.

So we are looking at around $1200-1400 total and split between four people.... $300-$350 per person. Not too bad me thinks.

wait a bit

Mitch,

Sub-sonic has a tranny. I'm not sure what he will do with it just yet, but I'll see him tomorrow. I can ask if he is selling.

I would gladly commit, but my hours have been cut at work so finance is a bit shaky right now.

Yes please ask him what he'd like for the tranny, thank you

Oh and can you see if you could get one rear sway endlink bolt/nut/washer assembly from him... I'll gladly pay for it if needs be. I have to fix what numb nuts damaged.

Not a problem. I'll also ask about the center diff.

Were you able to contact sub-sonic for the parts you needed and wanted to inquire about? If not, give me a call and I'll relay the message.
