Some @$$ keyed my car need some recomendations
I was at manoa market place and these 2 young punks in a 96-02 4runner with the rear smashed in supposedly keyed my hood. Bad thing is I didn't notice untill I got to ward center.
So I made the police report and got a report #. So what you folks think. Should I report it to my insurance to have it fixed? I'm worried if I claim geico will mysteriously raise my rate. Or should I take the loss pay out of pocket to fix it. Or replace it with a cf hood. If I do repaint and fix my hood any paint places you folks recomend? Thanks |
why would anyone key a legacy wagon of all cars? sucks man. gl with it

damn that sucks man, last week my mom's dvd indash got stolen, she reposted it to our insurance. allstate said they will not raise her rate. i hope it will be the same case with geico.

If you go with the repainting route I just had my some pieces done on my car.....they're a family team that work from a booth at home, prices are less than commercial shops and turn around time is excellent. If you want to see their work, I still have the pieces off the car and can show you the repair work and paint done on one of the sideskirts
BTW, that sucks sorry to hear people have nothing better to do than f@ck up other people's property:yell: |
Depending on the where the damage is, and the color of your car, it may be cheaper to just go the CF hood route. The shop may need to blend both fenders for a color match, in which case, it would definitely be cheaper to go CF route. And, if it was something you were already considering, now may be the time. Sorry to hear about the sh--ty situation.

I called around since its a pearl coat Im looking between $500-$700 best guess over the phone. Im gonna take it by my homeboys shop NuSkool Fx tommrow and get a visal estimate.
Crappy thing is that I was supposed to pay fo my Sti turbo top end swap to Vf39 this week. Now I gotta put my killer i was supposed to get on that to pay for this. Im waiting for crucial racing to get back to me on the Seibon carbon hoods since they are supposed to make a nice "legal" one with the washer holes and all. |
gl with this situation. sorry to hear they keyed a sexy car like the L GT. Things will work out. CF hood would look sweeeeeet though:)
