it was a hit and run at pearl highlands, what pisses me off is that now i gotta ****en pay a 500 deductible outta my own pocket to get it fixed for something i didnt even do. Lazy *** security guards there dont do ****, no security cameras or anything. You guys should be careful parking your cars there, because right after my incident, someone got their car stolen from the same parking lot. anyways.............**** YOU *******S WHO DID THIS ****! :deep3:

know how you feel. Someone backed into my 02 wagon right after I got it. Took out a $500 Morette headlight and the hood.

Still sucks that some people can be so careless and not own up to it.

it might be cheaper to go and get it fixed w/o insurance, i got hit and run while my car was parked in back the 7-11 lot by convention center 3 months ago. anyway i called the insurance and they said if i file the claim with them they said they would most likely raise my rates, also my record is clean and i have not filed anything like this before. i know how you feel, my driver side rear quarter panel and bumper still isnt fixed yet...

I know how you feel...

Luckily, I caught the stupid bastard that pulled his truck onto my rear bumper, then pulled off...

the guy was going to drive off and I looked at him, then his license plate and shook my head at him...dumb a$$...

Then he had the gall to step out and say that he didn't create the big scratch on my bumper...even took out a measuring tape...measured his bumper then the scratch...then decided to just shut up...

Yeah...he paid about $950 for that mistake...

^^^if the accident wasn't caused by you, your insurance rates should not go up...I would talk to your insurance company again and find out who told you that...and if that is the policy...change insurance companies...I've been with GEICO...no problems...

I feel what your saying Brent but not every insurance is like that....if there is a hit and run and you don't know who did it, you have to pay for the damage. Like the other dude says try see how much it is just to fix it yourself...if it's more then $500 go with the insurance.

ya its more than $500, damages total roughly $1200 - $1400, the whole fender has to be replaced

It sucks hard...sorry for that.

Yeah the mall rent-a-cops are notorious for being lazy *****es. Didn't someone almost get scammed by one of them at Windward Mall?

Yeah...that was my neighbor...

I followed up with him...said the Mall didn't have any records of this guy...the guy acquired a Mall Security shirt and tried to set up a car theft...that was messed up man...

Be careful of Mall Security...

Just for information: My neighbor's son, ~22yo has a Honda Accord...he walks to his car from the Windward mall...he unlocks the door using his keyfob...a guy comes running up to his car saying "that's the guy...he stole my keys".... And wouldn't you know, this Mall security guy happens to be right there to grab the keys out of my neighbors hand...luckily, my neighbor grabbed them back quickly and start telling this security guy off...at this point, the other guy (accuser) decides to book it...soon to be folowed by the pseudo Security dude...

Watch out at the malls!!! This was last year...
