reset tpms light
got new wheels. sensors are in a tpms bomb in the trunk, but the tpms light is on and i need to reset it. went to servco subaru and they use a little stick by the wheels to do it. does anyone have access to a tpms scanner or know where i could get this done? the dealer won't like my shady tpms bomb
I thought the sensors that read the tpms sensors are in each wheel and need to be in proximity of the sensors in the wheel wells. I've never heard of the TPMS bomb box before. You can try Costco to reset them for free. I work at the one down in Kapolei in the tireshop but I'm not sure if we'll be able to reset it without being able to scan each sensor individually then re-writing it to your ECU.
No need TPMS that for the lazy people.
Nah but I've never heard of a TPMS bomb box. It's possible to put your sensors on your new rims. Sears should be able to reset your light.

i made one of these. its pressurized to 35psi. i don't see why it would need to be in a wheel though (legally i know it does). ill try to sears and costco and see if theyll do it or if they're even able to read the sensors in the car. they are the stock sensors so they should still be in the ecu.
