Representin' Hawaii Region Subaruans in G Stock

Hi! I'm Erik & I just purchased a 2005 Impreza RS Sport Wagon yesterday from Trudy K. and Chris M. of Waialae Subaru. Trudy and Chris were so great to work with and I am extremely thrilled. Having logged less than a hundred miles at the moment, I'll try to snag a few good G Stock results for you all beginning November 13 or December 26

Does it have a man pedal, or is it an automatic?

Welcome to the club, stranger!

The More Suby's the better! Welcome. Glad to hear you'll be using your AWD for what it's made for.

Thanks, Barry, Pat, gdogg, Teresa, Francis, Josh, & Larry!! It's a 5-speed. After logging 1,000 miles (that's 1,000 miles, Francis ), no one (& I mean no one) will have more fun at the very next autocross than me.

Hi, Teresa! That's actually our thinking in this transition. I scanned my pea-sized brain for the ideal magic carpet for me: practical, affordable, easy on our eyes, &, of course, a racing platform fairly competitive at its level. Earlier this month at Nationals, a couple of '01 RSs got 17th & 31st, respectively, so at least it's present in its class. This time around, I have a new-fresh mindset: minimal modding and to have a great time autocrossing exclusively. Mods: tint (done so by Chris previously!), CG-Lock (given/installed by Dirk, SM, yesterday!), & Kumho ECSTA MXs (same size; to be ordered). That's all! Plus, I get to cheer you all on and -- depending on your heat -- put you here late that night via "wmv". See you all there, gang! [Edit: My unforgettable 2003 MINI Cooper is at Waialae Subaru.]

damn, so no more mini for you. AWESOME!! nah, hey, i would highly suggest the azenis instead of the mx's. the mx's need to be about 60% used before biting good. that is if you are not gonna change tires for each race.

Thanks, Barry! The RT-615s in 16" only come in 205/40 (the RS's rims are 6.5" wide, as you know). Otherwise, I'd get them (I went to look for those first). I no longer swap wheels so that'll help me get down to 60%. Thanks again, Barry!

Thanks, Jayson! Hey, wash your M3 for this Sunday!
