Rate increases for shipping

for those planning to ship interisland in the near future Young brothers has increased their rates 5.5 percent- for rest of story read here

i had to research this because i am plannning a Mauna Kea meet (yes i still am doing it) there is a discount for return trips (see pic..old rates)

Really? I just shipped my cars $899 each. The lowered the price from nearly $1k because Pasha came out with a new roll on/roll off container ship with Hawaii/Pacific service at that price. Why would they raise it again after lowering it in March? Weird...

So when is this meet? Is there a thread? I will go do a search...
